I understand that the next Republican debate will be moderated by Robbie the Robot, assisted by a Tribble, and broadcast on XFN (the X-Files Network).

I’m old.
I’m so old I can remember when Republican candidates tried to appear that they were anchored in reality.
All the while, the Beltway media, which somehow manages to include a pretentious bourgeois rag in New York City that’s just too-too to have comics, continues to pretend that our political discourse is sane.
